Russian Military Pageantry

By this point I had been in Russia for about three months. I had been inside well over 80 Russian Orthodox Churches, so I decided to skip one of the Moscow kremlin churches. As I sat that one out soldiers on foot and horseback paraded out into the square and showed off for the crowd. Sometimes it is good to sit one out.

Dutch Firemen

Everyone comes out to watch the gay pride parade in Amsterdam, even the fire department. Off in the distance you can see the towers of the Rijksmuseum.

Bullet for the Chicks

I was walking past Outwrite bookstore at the corner of 10th & Piedmont in Atlanta when I saw these chicks. There was an extremely bright light on them, and I managed such a fast shutter speed that I completely blacked out everything happening in the store.

Evening Look

There was once a woman in my life (I don't really like to name names) who did not understand the difference between a "day look" and an "evening look." When it came to clothes and makeup she just defaulted to night mode. One evening I was walking out of Barney's in New York City and I saw that mannequin in the window and thought to myself "that looks just like ********."
